Our Incoloro ULTRAGLASS is a high quality epoxy resin, designed with a unique formulation, which offers HIGH TRANSPARENCY.
In addition, it has excellent weather resistance, protecting surfaces from harmful UV rays, preventing YELLOWING, a common problem with many clear coatings as they age. Our ULTRAGLASS resists this yellowing and maintains its crystal clear transparency over time.
You can colour it to suit your needs and preferences, obtaining customised and unique colours.
Likewise, by mixing ULTRAGLASS with our catalysts you will achieve a high self-levelling power, excellent adhesion and unbeatable mechanical properties.

For correct dosing of Ultra Glass and catalyst and it is advisable to carry out this operation by weight. Inexpensive scales are available for accurate weighing of components.
Subsequently, mix both products gently for at least 5 minutes. The CATALYZER-N must be added on top of the resin and mixed until it is completely homogenised (this occurs when the mixing “threads” disappear completely).
Once the mixture is ready, apply it to the surface to be enamelled.
In case the applied product contains air, it is recommended to de-air the surface with a heat gun (at a distance of not less than 10 cm) in order to remove possible surface air bubbles.
The part is then left to cure for 24-36 hours in the environmental conditions described above. Note: This curing time can be significantly reduced if the part is placed in an oven at 40-60 ºC (the higher the temperature, the shorter the curing time). In addition, oven curing ensures that all its extraordinary properties such as hardness, gloss, etc. remain intact and the enamelled part remains dust-free.
Precautions: As this is an exothermic reaction that produces heat, the ambient temperature at the workplace must be taken into account. The pot life of the mix can vary, since at high temperatures the pot life of the mix is shortened and at low temperatures it is lengthened. In addition, in high humidity conditions, catalysts are hygroscopic and absorb moisture from the environment, leading to subsequent defects in the parts, therefore a maximum of 50 % RH in the workroom is recommended).
The products should be stored in their original packaging (properly closed), in a dry and ventilated place at a temperature between 5 and 30ºC, avoiding direct contact with sunlight.
Following the above indications, ESMALTEX COLOURLESS ULTRA GLASS has a shelf life of up to 3 years.
